The National Plan & Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) is a comprehensive, uniform system for identifying and uniquely enumerating health care providers and plans at the national level. The NPPES enrichment service matches healthcare providers using their National Plan Identifier (NPI) numbers and returns additional attributes for the provider, including the provider's business and practice information, endpoints, and NPI lifecycle.

NPPES data is updated monthly.

This service is included without additional licensing in the Healthcare Providers data product template.
